Bio

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author A.C. James writes paranormal romance books for adults and erotica, including Eternal Ever After (rebranded as Eternal Lover), which was featured in the bestselling Spice Box anthology. Her Ever Dark Immortals Series, which begins with Eternal Lover, has been described as “brimming with sensuality” and “romantic and sizzling hot.” The Isle of the Horse Shifters series starts with Ride: Awakening, and is “lighthearted” that is a “joy ride from beginning to end.”
Julie resides in the Philadelphia suburbs with her adoring husband Ron (aka Mr. A.C. James) who loves her imaginative yarns and punny sense of humor. She’s also a domestic violence advocate and discusses intimate partner violence and addiction to raise awareness on social media and through her writing. Many of her books include themes like alcoholism, addiction, or second chance romance such as Finding Her Bearing, which was written as part of Milly Taiden’s Paranormal Dating Agency world.
She spends most of her time drinking large vats of coffee while wrangling kids by day and writing by night. Recovering video game beta tester and tech geek who grew up going to cons and watching SmackDown. There’s probably some cosplay pictures around somewhere of her dressed up as Bloodberry from Saber Marionette J. Just don’t tell anyone.
EVER DARK IMMORTALS SERIES REVIEW
“I love these books! I am a huge fan of the Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series, Darlynda Jones and her Charley Davidson books with Reyes Farrow, the Sylvia Day (S.J. Day) Marked series with Cain & Abel. My newest favorite is the Kresley Cole’s Arcana Series featuring Evie, Death, & Jack. And I can see Holly & Arie also embarking on such a butt-kicking awesome, light over darkness, against all odds, along with major hot sex. Please continue with the two since they have already captured our hearts! I listen to all above series over & over along with Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs, & Nalini Singh as I work. Please continue!!” -Robin
Some Random Facts About A.C. James
(in case you were wondering or if you’re just really, really bored)
Worst Writing Regret
Well, A.C. James, is a pen name that’s actually an acronym that combines my kids initials, but when you’re attending book signings or conferences it’s not very practical. If I could do it all over again, I’d just have a pen name with my real first name: Julie. At least then I wouldn’t spin around and go “Huh” when people yell, “Hey, A.C.!” at a crowded book con. Fortunately, I’ll answer to A.C., Julie, Jules, or just about anything.
Favorite Fictional Characters:

Eric Northman Or Bill Compton?
Eric Northman every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
Sam Or Dean?
Definitely, Dean.
Favorite Films:
The Princess Bride, Pride and Prejudice, Henry's Crime (the most underrated Keanu Reeves movie ever), Idiocracy, & anything with Paul Rudd or Seth Rogan. I absolutely LOVE John Wick. I’ve got a huge crush on Keanu Reeves, but I’m a longtime fan because he’s an amazing human being. Deadpool is one of my favorite movies, too. Can you see a theme? Movies or shows with heroes that will do anything for love, even if it means blowing shit up. I also have a weakness for musicals like Rocky Horror Picture Show, Little Shop of Horrors, and Once!

Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural, The Umbrella Academy, Shadow & Bone, The Nevers, Lost Girl, What We Do In The Shadows, Sex Education, You (guilty pleasure), The Bridge (Swedish/Danish), I Think You Should Leave.

Yes, when I’m writing, I’m usually listening to something in the background. It sets the mood.

What Do I Like To Read?
I grew up reading the Choose Your Own Adventure series before graduating to L.J. Smith’s paranormal romance books long before television made the Vampire Diaries popular. Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and Illusions by Richard Bach are some of my all time favorite books. I especially love reading paranormal romance, contemporary romance, young adult, and erotica. Some of my favorite authors include Christine Feehan, J.R. Ward, Kim Harrison, Larissa Ione, but there are far too many favorites for me to possibly list them all!
