I'm a tech geek and old school gamer girl. I fell in LOVE with 'Choose Your Own Adventure' novels when I was in middle school. So, I decided to let readers be the main character with interactive stories and games in an app for Android and Apple devices. You can play them on your phone or tablet!

Goal

When I reach 3,000 patrons, I'll also write a side story that patrons suggest and vote on -- can be in ANY POV from ANY of my books (but must be a POV I've already written in novel format).

Ferrix ~ Chapter One

Nin didn’t know what to expect when they crash-landed in the patch of green behind the dwelling. A wave of heat blasted him when he opened the cockpit door, and this world was far too hot. The second thing Nin noticed was the odd smell of chlorine coming from the unusually small pond—they had landed next to an odd-looking body of water. He found the scent oddly calming. The sky was a bright blue, and the air was moist and hot. It reminded him of a good friend’s drunken breath after five pints. As far as he could tell from the star map, they’d arrived at a planet called Earth. Nin walked through the ship where everything was strewn about to the shuttle bay.

“Is everyone okay? Any injuries?” Nin yelled over his shoulder to Ferrix and Xavi.

“Yeah,” Ferrix said, rubbing his temples and following Nin to the shuttle bay. “Where are we?”

“I am confirming we are on Earth,” Nin said.

Nin followed her. Rae had a lovely dwelling. It was decorated as he would expect a human habitat, or at least from the photos F.U.C.K.D.E.E.P pulled up when Nin was researching potential mating grounds. He looked around her dwelling. It was clean and nicely furnished—the whole place was spotless. Nin was anxious to learn more about her. It was imperative to his mission as well as their species. Rae was an attractive woman. Her eyes were a lovely shade of green. It was most unusual for their kind. Most humans had dark brown eyes, according to his research. He watched as she walked into what appeared to be a large open kitchen with an island in the middle. Nin had never visited a human home before, but he knew what to expect from photos and was a quick study.

“So, you’re from Erion?” Rae asked as she poured a cup of coffee for each of them.

Rae tried to think of the best way to answer Kat without freaking her out, but before she could say anything, Ferrix stood and made his way around the kitchen island to greet her friend.

“I’m Ferrix, and this is Nin and Xavi. We’re from Erion. It’s a pleasure to meet you,” Ferrix said.

“I’m Kat,” she said and extended her hand for a handshake.

Ferrix gently took her hand and kissed its back as if he were a chivalrous knight rather than an alien.

Kat’s smile was wide. “Well, that’s certainly a first. Where did you guys say you were from?”

“They’re from Finland,” Rae said, but Nin responded simultaneously and said, “We’re from the fourth planet in a solar system that is twenty light-years from Earth.”
